Eintracht Braunschweig and VfL Bochum have both announced returning players over the past few days, with VfL Osnabrück making a double swoop as well.
Braunschweig confirmed on Sunday that Suleiman Abdullahi had rejoined the club on loan from Union Berlin. The forward had played for them between 2016 and 2018, leaving for Union after the club were relegated to the 3. Liga.
He is their ninth new signing this summer. The club had also announced on Friday the signing of former Nürnberg and Bochum goalkeeper Felix Dornebusch on a free transfer.
Bochum themselves welcomed back a familiar face on Friday, with Vasileios Lampropoulos signing a two-year contract after his successful loan spell in the latter stages of last season. He leaves Deportivo La Coruña, who were relegated from the Spanish Segunda División at the end of the campaign.

Also on Friday, Osnabrück made an impressive signing with left-back Ken Reichel joining after leaving Union Berlin. The former Braunschweig man has signed a one-year deal.
The following day, the club confirmed the arrival on loan of Moritz Nicolas from Borussia Mönchengladbach. He is another ex-Union player, with a two-year loan stay there terminated halfway through ahead of his latest move.
